International flights to and from Ecuador
Domestic flights to and from Galápagos (fly into Baltra and out of San Cristobal)
Galapagos National Park Entrance Fee ($200USD per person payable at airport upon arrival)

Dinners (options ranging between $6-$30 USD)
Spending money for souvenirs etc
BOOKING & PAYMENT
To secure your spot we require a non-refundable $1000 deposit made online. One month later we require 50% of the trip cost upfront, this will be invoiced to you and made via bank transfer. Six months out we require the remaining total to finalise payment.
If you require a payment plan in order to afford the final trip cost prior to the final payment six months out, we can arrange this personally with you, get in touch.
Galapagos Cancellation Policy
Liv for the Sea Expeditions
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as fair and transparent as possible with our cancellation policy. To protect both our guests and our business, the following terms apply to all bookings:
Deposit & Payment Terms
- A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
- The second payment is due 30 days after booking
- The third and final payment is due 6 months from trip departure unless a payment plan has been arranged.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 120 days before departure – You may transfer your deposit to another expedition within the next 12 months, or to another person. No cash refunds.
- 90 - 120 days before departure – 50% of the total trip cost is refundable. Deposits remain non-refundable.
- Less than 90 days before departure – No refunds will be issued, as it is unlikely we will be able to fill your spot on short notice. (If we manage to fill your position we can refund you the cost at which the spot was sold, the initial $1000 deposit is non refundable.)
Transfers & Rescheduling
- You may transfer your booking to another person at any time before departure, provided they meet the trip requirements.
- If unforeseen circumstances arise (e.g., personal emergencies), we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellations by Us
- In the rare event that we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions), you will be offered:
- A full transfer to a future expedition, or
- A refund minus non-recoverable costs (e.g., permits, supplier fees).
Travel Insurance
- Since last minute injuries, illnesses, work emergencies, natural disasters or deaths in the family unfortunately do happen, we strongly recommend to purchase travel insurance to protect you and your trip. We highly recommend purchasing a policy with the ‘cancel for any reason’ clause. With the purchase of insurance everyone involved will be protected from losses associated.
